Place the pin
Select Place pin and click the exact map position, or right-click anywhere. In the editor you can paste coordinates, use the map centre or choose and drag the position directly on the map.

Build a useful location library one careful pin at a time, then use filters, conditions and the sun tracker when planning a visit.
Link parking
Select any existing parking pin from Nearby parking, or choose Create parking pin to add and automatically link a new one. Parking pins can record free or paid access, permitted hours and an optional price.
Describe the photograph
Add the location type, folder, subject tags, ideal time, atmosphere, focal length, visit status and any practical notes that will help you plan the shoot.
Add a reference image
Choose an image or drag one into the editor. It will appear with the location so you can quickly recognise the view or composition you saved.
Build a folder tree
Group locations by country, region, trip or project. Create nested folders such as Italy / Dolomites / Tre Cime, then collapse or hide any section you do not currently need.
Use folder actions
Right-click a folder name or select its three-dot button. Open a full-screen image grid, show only that branch on the map, edit its name and description, or export it with any linked parking pins.
Filter and reorder
Use Status to include or hide Not visited, Scouted, Photographed and Revisit needed pins. Search folders controls which folders text search can inspect and remembers exclusions. On desktop, drag cards within a folder to set a manual order.
Search the map
Search for a place, town or city, or paste a pair of coordinates to move directly to an exact position.
Choose the map style
Choose Simple for a clean planning map, Standard for more detail, Satellite for aerial imagery or Satellite + labels to add place names.
Position the sun tool
Open Sun, place the red centre marker at the shooting point, choose a date and move the time slider to see how the direction of the light changes throughout the day.
Check before leaving
Review linked parking access, weather, sunrise, sunset and the morning and evening golden-hour times, then open Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze for live routing and traffic information.
Export a backup
Full-library and individual-folder exports include the date and time in the filename. Keep recent backups so your locations can be restored or moved to another device.
